Call for activities
Topics
Activities should preferably be conducted in Portuguese, but may also be in English, Spanish, or even Portuglish ;-)
At MiniDebConf Campinas 2026 our focus will be the Debian Project so you can propose any activity related to Debian. We welcome proposals from users, official contributors, companies, etc.
Come show us how you use Debian or how you contribute to the Project.
Diversity
MiniDebConf Campinas 2026 is an event committed to diversity. We would love do receive proposals from people who are part of underrepresented groups in the Free Software community and who would like to speak about something related to Debian. If you are part of one of these groups, please send us your proposal. If you know someone from one of these groups, encourage them to submit a proposal ❤️.
If you’d like to give a talk but are unsure about the topic, get in touch with the organizers — we can help you choose a good one.
Take the opportunity to learn more about the Debian Diversity Statement.

Types of activities
You may submit 3 types of activities:
- Panel/Debate/BoF: a discussion session on a specific topic, lasting 50 minutes.
- Talk: a presentation on a specific topic, lasting 50 minutes.
- Workshop: a hands-on, guided activity, lasting 3 hours.
In principle, panels and talks will last up to 50 minutes, including time for questions. If you plan a longer activity, please state that in the “Notes” field when submitting your proposal.
